why? because it isn't the huge hit as many expected it to be? i'm sorry, but if people rather play games like tf2 where they had to disable team damage, then skill requiring games got no chance. neither do other recent games. just look at crysis mp and ut3.
i haven't played it for a long time either, but quake wars is actually one of the better games out there, at least one worth the money. besides, nothing was wrong with 1.4. |

It would have been a nice game wasnt it for the flying fucks and the snipers.
Agree money well spended and I got enough in return just not a hit like ET which was brilliant.
Dont forget that lots of people doesnt play shooters anymore. Last study showed only 1 out of 5 gamers actually play shooters. No wonder concerning its one of the only sports where the pros fight against lil amateurs. And ofc the cheating and now global stats. |

ETQW is still great and IMO the best FPS game out there at the moment.
Patch 1.4 solved the sniper issue and icarus spam...I haven't been killed by a sniper or stroybomb in a very long time tbh.
ETQWpro is nice to play, but it is mostly popular to the high skilled players and thus can be very frustrating.
The small amount off players that still play ETQW know the game by now and that only makes it better, much more infantry fighting 1v1 best aimer wins, much more objective based class picking + respawning for next obj.
Imo the game is still getting better, but it is too late...old players got tired, new players will get their arse kicked hard and leave.

I'm not saying it is a bad game..
the only thing i said is that they announced this patch ages ago..
and about the fuck part.. well.. i didn't played this game for ages so cant give my opinion..!
I should reinstall it and patch up and see what this game has become...

hmm think i need to try it again! when i'm bored i will patch up this weekend.
