well after 3.5 years my beloved sony ericsson k610i gave his spirit to the creator...
I've been looking at ebay for something new, figuring I know nothing of cellphones :p so I kinda need your advice...
I need a sony ericsson so it would fit my sim card, NO TOUCH SCREENS(I hate those... they can intercept jet fighters but they can't make a misrable call...), something in the bounderies of 100$ and has long survivability(I talk ALOT)
oh and gadgets are not necessary.. I just talk and send smss...

first off all your simcart can function independent. So the phone brand does not matter.
I myself have a nokia 6300, dropped it on the ground a few billion times....and it still works |

I used a Sony Ericsson W880i for some month, switched to a Nokia 5800 Express Music, found out its crap and switched back to my old Sony Ericsson
Reason:
Nokia -> big fat ugly bitch that just feels like a stone in your pocket
W880i -> more then a week akku duration, its fucking slim (!) and i can do phone calls. for longer train travels i have some novels and music on it. The headset is btw also of good quality

actually i have seen your post too late hehe
and got myself that nokia 5800 just a few days ago... im quite happy about it... as a matter of fact, you were the only one who complained about it, everyone else said its great... imo it really is
